The issue I have is that his team focuses on downhill/enduro.......


My son really likes xc but needs a full suspension for his team practices and some of the races. He is at a bit of a disadvantage racing against the kids on hardtails but he holds his own. At this stage, my wallet says one mountain bike is sufficient. As an added expense bonus, he also decided that he wanted to do triathlons. And I got him a 2012 Sworks Shiv for that. So the biking budget is used up for the moment. I linked one of the trails they do during team practice.......
